Hi all

I have started a video, completely new experience for me, have never done any videos ever before on anything, nor have i ever edited video.... but this game has grabbed me, I love it and I wanted to share what I had learned in the 2 weeks and countless save i have started on this game. The first episode is up, unfortunately as IO have no idea what I'm doing the episode ended up being a whopping 52 minutes. That includes the very start which I somehow cut off during my editing crash course, 7 hours to learn how to edit the file and get it uploaded to youtube. I have another 7 episode recorded but not edited, i don't mind recording them it's commentary on my own game lol. If anyone cares to take a look i would be grateful for any advice on my videos, or advice on how I'm playing the game, comments, or just general abuse you would care to give. Please let me know if you want to see more, if not I'd rather not waste more hours of my life editing lol.......

That for uploading this. A few people have done walk through/play through videos and I know they are a great way of introducing new players to the game.

I'll pull you up on the zx81 comment at the start of the video though. The first management game I recall playing was Football Manager (on the ZX81): http://www.mobygames.com/game/zx81/football-manager

Apologies if anyone was offended i was just trying to convey my immense love of this game and perhaps used the wrong word, apologies again.

Fair enough on the ZX81 thing, but i never played any of those. Wasn't until i got my Spectrum 48k that i discovered found football manager. As for the horse racing game, i cannot remember what it was called........

I'll look at editing episode 2 and see how long it takes, I'd rather be racing than editing videos about stuff I've already done lol

Hello again,

I have done the 2nd episode and it is up on YouTube, had another editing mishap. I made and intro video and all was going great until i came to render the file, the intro disappeared and it somehow took the first few seconds of video footage with it. I now know what i did wrong but its done now........If i do any more maybe i will get better lol

Hello again,

After the editing problems with the first 2 episodes and the recordings I have for the following episodes being absolutely huge I decided to start again on a new save. Settings are exactly the same, combined flat and jumps as an owner/trainer. I've kept this first episode to about 30 mins.

The end of the season episode. a couple of races and our first ride in the Grand National. Which starts at around the 25 minute mark when my promising chaser that cost £14,100 and has fallen more times than she's finished a race takes on the fences at Aintree. Also clicking over the season and see our Yearlings come through into the stable.

Well, you're lucky to have played this game. I searched everywhere but did not find any.
