Has there been any change to the betting side of the game, i.e. any limits on how much money you can win from betting?

No but betting seem much much tougher and if you want to bet alot you need 1000s of clicks

It's a pity it's not limited to 1 million payout like in real life...... I seem to remember we've had this conversation before

I bought the game as soon as I saw the email. Once I loaded it up, I got into the races and started betting. Won a bit over a million and returned to the stable to buy a few upgrades. Instead of having over a million in my bank, I was back to $80,000. The only money I got to keep from my betting was the amount I used to buy a trailer ($7500). I then just closed the game.

Would be nice to know if that's an intended feature to stop the "watch races and note which horses win, close game, place bets, watch bank account grow" tactic many use to start new games or if it's a bug. If it's intended, there should be some kind of indicator saying how much more you can win for a day.

I do find it amusing that the announcer has a clear British accent. I never even thought about text-to-speech programs having accents, so it's a bit unexpected when playing a stable in the US. Nice touch that "he" can cough at times.

I'm dumb. Saw a patch was released already so I'll try that.

My only other issue at this point is that I couldn't choose where I installed the game. It defaulted to my C drive. I ended the installation and restarted it thinking I missed it but it wouldn't let me select a location. Since my C drive is a 256 GB SSD, I try not to install more than I absolutely have to to save on space.

is this playable on Mac??

No not yet. IIRC, the Mac version won't out until after the full game is released.
