In the game, I can't get the break or whip to work. The manual says Left CTRL, and I have tried that, as well as every other combination I can think of with no luck. Can someone please explain to me what keys to use on the keyboard to whip/make the break? Thanks in advance.

To whip hold the up key / keep pressing the up key to drive your horse, and keep pressing the left ctrl key to whip the horse.

To break (I assume you mean break from the gate hold the up key / keep pressing the up key and press the ctrl key when it says go, sometimes you will get this perfect other times you won’t, how well your horse breaks also depends on it’s starting stats

If you mean break as in slow your horse down press the down key either hold it or tap it a few times depending on how much you want your horse to slow down

The left and right arrow keys move the horse left and right

I think it’s the Z and C keys that let you look behind in jockey mode either left or right
