Howdy I only play the Flat game not NH, so it depends on what you are playing to some degree. #1 Tip: Start reading through the forum posts. Include the "Online League" section as well because there are some good tips in there. Other Tips: You need money. When you start a new game keep restarting until you get at least one unraced 2yo that has a Group 1 winning parent. Then sell any horses that dont look amazing. (often that is all of them) Take that money and buy the "Breeding Barn". Breed your mares with the cheapest Group 1 winning stud. Buying cheap mares and using them in the breeding barn is good as well. When the foals turn 2yo sell them before you race them. Rinse and repeat. Now you have money! Start buying good horses. Go to the "Breeding Mare" auctions and buy mares that have produced good foals. Keep breeding your mares with the game studs. Start breeding with any half decent stallions you might have. Sell any rubbish foals @ 2yo. This game is more about "Breeding" than "Training". Unless you are using the manual training option, which i dont suggest. Allow at least 5 season until you start to assemble some ok horses. You might get lucky and start with a good horse in the stable, great! Hopefully that will get you started. EDIT: There is a "so7instructions.pdf" file in the main game directory that will help. |

Thanks for your help, very much appreciated. By trial and error I had found out the Breading aspect lol but thanks for the confirmation. I haven't have much luck breading any great horses yet, I've had a couple of group 1 winners but nothing overly successful. I'll keep trying ![]() Thanks |
