Post The Joy of Jumps
It's been a while since I've incorporated jumps into my SO games, but having just started a game I remember what I'm missing.

I'm sure that a lot of players already do this, but it's great fun when you have a successful flat only save, to export 'duds' to the game pool and start a jumps campaign.

Thornbury Hunt never really amounted to much on the flat, but has gone 2 from 2 over the sticks! I'm wondering if battling qualities come into their own in jumps?

I'm guessing it does. I haven't seen this before.

Wow. Never seen a horse with battling quality that high before.
I have done the opposite.. Gone from jumps to flat.
One of my jumps duds has just won the Arc de Triumph in my third season of a new flat save.

That makes sense. Horses generally get better as the game progresses. A G1 winner in the first few seasons wouldn't stand a chance 10 years later. That's what is so good about transferring horses from 'the future' in a second game!
