Interesting stuff here guys.

I had not seen that comment from the developer, marklater.

So basically a high attribute is negated to some degree by a lower attribute or mixture of attributes elsewhere. Leading to things never quite turning out exactly as expected. Which is all fine, and just like life in general. I am happy in my own head that I am right not to get too hung up about stats and that you just have to try horses on the racecourse and judge them from there.

I am always intrigued by the various opinions and views of players of SO7. Everyone plays a unique game, and therefore sees things in a slightly different light. Nobody is right and nobody is wrong - it's just good to share thoughts.

I suspect you are right. My best 3 year old has high maturity and high potential. I'm curious what summary looks like for that horse.

Be curious no more:

I was mistaken, she finished 3rd in the Preakness after winning 8 races in a row leading up to it.
It was her sister Dancing Iris (same sire, different dam) who won. I entered them both because they both had been on a holy terror through the competition since they were 2.

She also had high maturity (about 66%) and was nearly fully developed.

Thanks. Very high potential. It would be nice if it was a stallion so you could breed him.

Oh, she will definitely be bred.
But yeah, only once a year, unlike with a stallion, sadly.

I'm curious if you bred the horse and whether it got the high stamina from the sire or the dam.

I also think the long maturity bar is for later maturing.

Also playing all schedules, I think the bar applies to the schedules differently. "Late" is relative.

I am currently playing us schedule but really want to run more or all, as there are huge holes in t he schedule for spring racers and racers over 1m1f.
Is there anyway to change, edit or add to a schedule for a game that is already in process, or does all that need to be done before you start the game?

Sorry I missed this question.
I am not sure I follow. Her (Park Ave Princess) stamina was only 22.
Or did you mean to ask about the high maturity rate bar?
If it was about her high maturity bar, her mother's bar was only @ 50%, and her sire was my go to stallion, but his foals usually had middle ground maturity bar levels, so not sure how hers was so juiced up.
Yes, she was bred by my stable.

As far as I know, it all has to be set when you make a game.

For a while I ran multiple and used the export/import to send horses to barns with better schedules for them. Now I just run a combined UK though.
