Post subject:  Retaining Jockey
just bought the game, trying to retain a jockey, i would of thought when you retain a jockey you dont have to physically put the jockey into the race for your horses (automatic) anyone else? also i retained a jockey and when i went to put him on my horse it said he was riding elsewhere. ?

i also have noticed.. u can have ur retaining jock ride 3 horses n same race at 1 time :L i added 3 of my horses n same race and R L moore could ride 3 at the 1 time Lmao

now thats talent, 3 at once!, i too found that i couldnt get my retainer jockey off another mount to ride mine.

Noticed before the update I could use my retained jockey on more than one horse but on the jockey feedback it would be for the first horse only. Now (after the update) if I try to use the jockey again he will be taken of the first horse asked him to ride.

My retained jockey will switch to my horse if the race is past a certain deadline (not sure how many days yet) or it will say jockey already booked.

My retainer D.Oliver only rides the big races for me, handicap and maiden races are taken care of by my apprentice.

This seems to work out alright for me.
