Post subject:  Editing showcase file-conditions races

Hi,
has anybody got a full list of conditions that can be included for editing conditions races?
Ive seen some using the decrypter sheet in excel, such as max runs=1,but would like the full list of codes so as to fully edit race conditions.
Cheers,
Steve.

So far, the only ones I've come across have been:

maxruns=
notwonclass=
musthaverun

What does "musthaverun" mean?

I also wouln't mind seeing a full list.

"musthaverun" just means that the horse must have previously run in order to take part. I think it's basically one that can just be used for conditions races when there are no other specific conditions. In the default schedule, Mark had set up Royal Ascot's Queen Alexandra Stakes in this way.

In the default UK flat schedule, only the three sets of conditions I mentioned in my previous post have been used, but according to the game's features list, there should also be one to restrict a race to horses which have won fewer than a set number of races.

I guess im most interested in the notwonclass condition.

It looks as though this means that a horse must not have won a certian class of race eg.class 1.However this appears different to not having won a group 1 race.

Im really looking to see if its possible to have a group 2 race with the condition that no Group 1 winners can be entered.
This would prevent the common situation where top quality group 1 winners unrealistically eneter group 2 or group 3 races.
Often Ive seen Derby winners enter The Great Voltiger for example, this wouldnt happen in real life.

Surely that's the "notwonclass" and just chuck in the no of wins that they must have less than.

"notwonclass" is to restrict races to horses which have not won races of a certain class. So, if you say "notwonclass=1" for a race, it will restrict it to horses which have not won a class 1 race.

Ah, fair enough.

Does anybody know why races are now categorised by classes aswell as group races?
What is the significance of this game wise?

I assume it's just to make it more like real-life racing.

The only area where it seems to come into play is when you set a conditions race with "notwonclass=1", for example. The downside with that though, is that it means all horses that have won a class 1 race (any group or listed race) cannot compete in that race, where in real life exclusions would be narrowed down to "not won G1", "not won G2 or higher" etc.

Agreed Panther.

Its just a real pity that you cant exclude group 1 winners from some races.
