 What does 'S' next to Prize money mean?

Post What does 'S' next to Prize money mean?
Just transferring my showcase from S03 to S04 using the encrypter, and i've noticed the X to boost the field size is now next to the prize money, but what does the 'S' do?

I'm guessing it means 'Small Field'. Not 100% sure though, but I'm guessing thats what it is, a small select bunch for the said race.
