I recon that would be pretty cool. If your horses are the only ones wearing pacifiers then you could change the colour of it and make your horse stand out from the rest. Wish mine were the only ones wearing a pacifier!!!

Cool ? I just want a realistic horse race sim. I got this game because SO3 seemed like the most real horse sim I ever played. Even thoe in SO3 it seemed like the only pacifier I ever needed was blinkers. I just want to see a race and feel immersed. When I look around race after race in big fields and see that I have the only horse that needs a pacifier its kind of weird. Especialy after SO3 where it seemed many of the horses needed it.

I've just watched two NH races with 20+ runner fields. I had one runner in the first, and 6 horses in total had a pacifier. The next race, I had no runner, and 2 horses had some form of pacifier.

Two flat races, one with 15 entries, the other with 21. I had no horse entered in either, but they had 3 pacifiers and 2 pacifiers respectively.

Ive gone through 2 years so far. Not a single horse has had a pacifier in any race aside from my one horse. US schedule.

And the horse colors are lame. I honestly think SO3 was a better game.

This is quite common. Don't see the problem?

I guess American horses wear headgear more than Uk though?

I don't know a lot about American racing but the little bits I've watched all the horses seem to wear some kind of head gear. Although I know that not all of these horses are wearing blinkers etc. They wear hoods in the same colour as their owners colours to make them easier to pick out in big fields. It also means in the sloppy dirt in the winter the horse doesn't get as much of it in its face which can put it off. Hence why if there is only 1 horse in the race with a pacifier could be a bit of a shock to someone used to American racing... A deal breaker though, I'm not sure!

Bloomstonb: It might be a good thing to suggest in the development discussion page for future development of the game. But being an English game, at the moment it reflects what happens here.
