Post subject: | Horse Running Freely |
Hi wondered if anyone could help as nearly 80% of my horses are running freely even the ones that have been gelded. Any tips on how to sort this out would be helpful. |

There was a patch released, two or three patches back, that sorted out this mares issue. Also, has anyone else noticed a reduction in the number of horses needing gelding. When the game came out first, 70-80% of the males needed the chop. I'm down to around 20% now needing it. |

I've figured this is a problem which gets bred out in time when your breeding lines progress. I have also noticed that Colm, but usually I am just breeding Laid Back disposition horses now so I don't really have any problems with needing to geld them. |

What l will say is that since updating l have had over 150 horses now and not 1 of them needs a pacifier, shame as this made a nice little touch to the game. Horses running freely as duke said l think down the breeding line it stops as l have not had run freely for a long time |

I have a stable of about 45 and 2 wear pacifiers, possibly not the most realistic. There are more in my flat game. I have a stable of around 80-90 in my flat game and about 7-10 horses need pacifiers so that isn't too bad. Lots of my jumpers seem to prefer a dirt surface which is strange considering there is no option at all to run on the dirt! Still loads running freely doesn't seem to matter if they win or loose, still running free! Glad to hear from The Duke and mwesty that this gets bred out. I'm only on my first crop of 2yo's in the flat game and I have 1 yearling in the jumps so not exactly well established! |
