First of all Micc welcome to our forum and I hope you will become one of us all that are having the great fun playing this great horse racing game Starters Orders4, lets just start by saying obviously you have watched horse racing on TV or somewhere to sign up and become a member on this forum, so the best way is to go to http://www.startersorders.com/ and download the full game from here http://www.startersorders.com/download/ play the Demo side of the game and see if you like it, and if you are happy with it buy it, and if you have any questions about the game what so ever please do not hesitate to ask on this forum and there will always be someone here to help you or answer your questions, we do also run an online league for the game which just started but first things first give the demo a go and I can assure you that you will like what you see.

Ok Micc good questions mate, but the only way to answer your questions I'm afraid lays in here C:\Program Files\Starters Orders 4 on your PC mate you will find an SO4 Instructions word document have a go at reading it it will answer all your questions, you see, the beauty about this game is everyone plays it differently so you have to experiment and find the way that you will be comfortable & happy playing the game, you can play it the "simple training" where you don't train your horses the game does that for you or you can play it the "standard training" where you train your own horses, you get given 3 horses at the start of the game, try and experiment with them for one season till you get the idea what it's all about, providing that you bought the game because if you didn't buy the game the demo will only allow you to play I think a certain amount of times, so have a go with reading the "SO4 Instructions word document" and if you still have a question about the game don't hesitate to ask on here, good luck micc I'll be here to keep an eye to see if your about.

A few beginner tips:

Start off on Simple Training
Visit the auctions every day
Dont worry about which jockey you use
Leave race instructions for their first race to the jockey and use that as a reference going forward.
