Cant Import my horses to jumps
Hi guyz,
Terrible couple of days! After losing my only slot I now restarted, played on and exported some horses to game pool for the jumps, I click on transfer in my jumps game and it let me transfer but then after i press escape the game shuts down and the horses dissapear..
I cant find my horses anymore btw
Can anyone help by any chance I've become so disheartened!
Thanks

Might be a good idea to post this in the Technical Support forum... Although I do hope that some of the more technically minded people will be along later...

The transfer pool data is contained in the ttf file in the saves folder. It updates changes made to the pool with immediate effect rather than when the game is saved, so as soon as you move a horse out of it, the ttf updates the data to not include that horse/horses anymore. If the game crashes before you have had a chance to save, then I'm afraid the horses you pooled and imported have gone for good.
I don't know why it crashed on escape, I've never had a problem with the transfer pool crashing and I thought all the escape crash bugs had been corrected so firstly I would advise you just test it a couple of times and if it continues to do it, and your patched up to date, let Mark know the score.
If you plan to build up a few horses in the pool for purposes of starting a new serious game again, go into the saves folder and just copy the ttf file as a backup before you start your new game so if this were to happen unexpectedly again, your covered.
