horse didnt have pace in race
this probably is a stupid question but in jockey feedback quite often the jockey says horse didnt have pace in race how do i sort this out?

I think it means that the race it was running in wasnt a truly run race, and had a slow pace in it.
I find if you look out for some front runners in Seller races and snap them up, then just run them in your races to get a truly run race helps sometimes.

It means that the horse wasn't fast enough to get competitive in the race. Putting in a pacemaker can help, maybe try a pacifier. But I'd say the horse probably wants another half furlong or furlong. Or if it doesn't stay any further then get the horse closer to the pace and tell the jockey to 'challenge earlier'. Hopefully that'll help.
