I play one game flat only and one game jumps only, what I do is all 3yo's in my flat game that have good jumping ability but I won't be using at 4 I send to the game pool, once I import into my jumps game I geld them and this seems to work.

But then you have nothing to breed with. I agree PJ, I don't really know what it means. I tend to just ignore it but I've noticed there are loads of almost single word answers from jockeys. I keep getting 'held up' or 'restrained early', that's it, no help at all! I've noticed on the flat that there are some odd comments, I've had some saying the horse needed further then he said the horse didn't stay about the same horse in the same race! Weird.

Regarding The Flat l find its who the jockey is i.e a top jockey usually gives more and better info. L have also had jockey say too far then too short and l think this is due to the pace of the race.

All my jumps horses are breed from my flat stable, I have won Gold Cups, King George, Stayer hurdle, Champion Hurdle etc
Kauto Star - sire Village Star top classic 12f
Denman - sire Presenting top classic 12f 3yo
Binocular- sire Enrique high class 2yo/miler
When have any of the champion jumps races every been won by a entire, I can only think of one Alderbrook in the Champion Hurdle.

Think Kribensis was an entire when he won for Sir Michael Stoute also.
But yes, a general rule is that entires don't win top jump races.

Have you ever seen a horse gelded in Mexico or Brazil?! That's even worse, no sedatives just a very big, VERY sharp knife!
I'm still loathed to geld any of mine so 90% of mine are entire, despite it not being very realistic. Odd thing is though that I have 45 horses on the flat, about 35 of them males and all bar 2 of them 'could benefit from gelding' which I find really wieird because the majority can win G1's fine being entire so why should I want to geld them?!
