I have been playing the game now and up to my fifth season, I have been saving with no problem, now the saved games are not loading, I started again and the following error came up access violation at 0x00476197 tried to read from 0x0c5a5bdc program terminate, I have had no problems before, what can I do?

no I havent done anything to the game, I changed a few jockeys names months ago, but have played on it loads since then, Doesnt seem to be any reason for it happening. Its frustrating as start playing and next time go to play save game it loads then freezes with the error message above,

What patch are you on mate?

I am one of the least clued up computer people on this forum, I have never used any of the patches, so maybe the first one, hope this helps

load the game mate and on your start game screen there is a spanner if the left hand corner with a number beloe, should be 1.0177. If it is not that back up all your files and download latest patch below

I have won 1 grade 1 long walk hurdle but was a fluke at 28-1, finding it difficult to buy the best class of horse,

My best flat horse rating was 110 and won a couple of listed races,

Game really addictive, do you think the jockey you use makes much difference? I am using Paul Doe and I am getting plenty of winners but they are mostly in claimers!!!
