Post stable size
on the first season its hard to win both the flat and jump titles which makes the game fun and a challenge but once you upgrade your stable up to one hundread its pretty eay to win the jump by march and the flat half way through the season. the real point im trying to make is why do the computer trainners have such a small amount of horses to race against you, theres very few trainners who have more than 10 horses to run ive never seen a stable with more than 20 the game would be much more enjoyable for long turn playing if the other trainners had more horses to run against you rather than 10 or less.

ps cant stop playing the game ps3 is getting dusty

If you reduce the number of trainers the stable sizes will increase, I use 100 UK flat, 9 IRE and 9 FR trainers I think the other countries only use 5 trainers.

The game only has a certain amount of horses spread across all the trainers each season, so the less trainers you use the more horses get allocated to each trainer. the most I have seen in a stable was 44.

do you j8st change the trainers names folder?
i thought if you add or delete names from that then it crashes the game.

yes you do have to start a new game.

I spent a few weeks updating and making changes to the trainers, jockey, schedule etc when the game was first released and didn't start playing until I was happy with my changes as I didn't want to start a new game a few months down the line.

If you are only playing the game to get horses for the league you don't really need updated schedule, trainers etc
