				  Can't believe my luck

i had a windows 7 blue screen crash and it deleted sav files in so4 so
therfore i could not load my saved game
the game was set up perfectlly breeding lines were just starting to pay off
in a big way a horse of mine you might have seen on here before
mount nelson his first 2yo wwere coming out that next season so i was
gutted to loose my saved game anyway i started again from scratch and in
november season 1 went to end of season sales and bought about 20
 2yo's prices varied from 250 -480k anyway i think i paid around 270k
for a horse called beaded bubbles and i can't believe my luck
he is a machine looking forward now to the guineas with this one
you don't usually strike it that lucky in your first year at sales

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
p.s. think thats him finished for the season don't think he would stay a mile
in the breeders cup juvinile for colts his stamina bar may pick uo b4 end season

pjr what schedule are you using and where did you get the horse pictures from, mine are completely different to yours.
I am saddened to hear about what as happened to your game and also delighted that you have a superstar on your hands, by the way how are the other 2 year olds doing that you purchased?

thats the problem with this game!!!!

take football manager for example - ive had many a computer crash playing that and lost very minimal amounts of data.

so4 on the other hand has crashed on me, lost me hours of gameplay and more importantly good breeding horses and potential league horses. great game but i wont be putting as much time into it anymore because its too probable that i will lose even more again in the future!!

good look with that horse mate hope hes got what it takes

So sorry to hear this. You've posted this in the technical support forum and I'm sorry it's happened. This happened loads to me in SO and SO2 but I've been really lucky in SO3 and SO4 (so far, I really hope I'm not tempting fate!). This looks a nice horse and a surprisingly cheap one. I don't usually pay that little for my 2yo's but maybe after reading this I'll start looking at some of the cheaper ones! Good luck with him and I hope for all our sakes that Mark can work out a way for us not to lose hours of gameplay because of one crash.

I know when I was younger playing other horsey games and things like The Sims, if they ever crashed I only lost the time I'd spent playing that day (that I hadn't saved). Like HR said. I know these were made by big companies but I hope that Mark can soon find a way to protect the data so we don't lose so much if the game crashes.

 Good luck with it.

exactly supercat - just the other week i transferred 7 horses into jumps game who all had the potential to be in the nhc league this season and were my hope for races like gold cup and that sort of distance. however when i imprted them the game crashed next day and i lost those horses with no way of recovering them. my nhc squad will therefore be predominantly 2mile - 2m6f horses with one or two longer distanced ones but not as many as i would of hoped

thanks super cat yes reported it to mark in tec support but mark just said the fault was with my fairly new laptop somthing to do with drivers but when i get a blue screen crash when booting windows it only deletes so4 sav files nothing else
yes i am the same as you supercat i usually only buy 2yo horses over 400k
but as this was the start of a new game i thought would get as many 2yo
0ver 200k and he was one of them ended up with about 17 at 200k and 13
  at 400+
