Post More Horse Colours
I was just wondering if it was possible for more variable colours of horses to be included in SO4. At the moment there are 4 different colours, but, I was wanting to add more, like dark greys to light greys etc. Thanks.

Maybe for SO5 like Scatters says but is it possible to add more folders in the horses folder in program files so that these can be done now?

Here is a picture of a recent race in SO4 but I changed the colour of the grey horses in the game to make them lighter a bit like Monets Garden in real life, it would be great if we could do this but also keep the original grey colour as well.

more importantly more jockey silks and a way to customise your own silks
so no other in game trainer can use them its the most frustrating part of
the so series when you have a 7 horse race with one of those your horse
and yet 6 of them wear the same colours silks

Totally agree pjr. I thought in SO4 that we could customise the keys slightly by changing the contrast etc. but when you do it doesn't alter the race silks at all only the thumbnail image. But do you know if it's possible to add more folders for the horse colours?

i think this is a major issue we need the abillity to choose from over a
hundred silks so there is no chanc of in race clashing im no computer
expert but i would guesstimate it wouldent be the hardest thing to add
more silks and what is the point of customising you colours in my data in
game if they dont carry through to the race

I agree with the more varying shades for the horses, but also one thing that seriously irritates me is the fact that there are no chestnuts. Why? It's one of the two base genetic colours in horses, so why, oh why is it missing from this otherwise excellent game? The light bays pictures are often of chestnut horses but in races they are actually light bay- why not separate them entirely?

And why have light bays but no variations for any other colours?

The silks are also a bit annoying, but for some reason they don't irritate me as much as the lack of chestnuts.

Yes absolutely need chestnuts, and one or two more shades of grey.

Agree with everything that has been said except the irratate part :D

Its hard to get too upset with this game but it does need some tweaking!!

lol Scatters, I know, the game is far too awesome to really get annoyed about it! It's just I come from a dressage/show horse background and not having chestnut just seems like... I don't know. Sacrilege!
