hi wondering if the jump skill is always low for horses in SO4 and you have to train them up by purchasing equipment or if it is experiance a horse lknows...i ask as i have started a jump season and all my horses seem to have a very low jump skill( green bar)

any help would be great

Nope. Stat bars mean little. See what the head lad says about it on the training screen.

may sound a dumb question but how do you see what head lad says about jumping is it the percentage mark for jumping?

percentage mark is based on last race. And the mistakes made. i.e 100% is clear round of jumping.

To find out head lad comments on jumping go into your training menu (the one where you can select gallopers) and if you highlight the horse the head lad comments should appear in the bottom right hand corner telling you the different abilities and how he rates them
