great game - but jockeys' and head lads' comments can annoy
I have been playing this game for a while now and really enjoy it - it is certainly the best racing game around. However, I can't help wondering why, although much of what jockeys and head lads tell me is useful information, it was felt necessary to make them come up with some patently ridiculous comments. If I listened to the head lad I doubt if I'd have more than a couple of intact males in my stable and I have learned that it is often best to ignore comments from even the best jockeys such as "we struggled in this class" and "the horse may do better against lesser competition" since the same horse will often go on to win or do well at the same level next time out.
Still, thanks for a great game and really helpful forums.
