While I use SO3 I wanted to post here because this board is more active and I figured the racing strategy was basically the same.
Anyway, I am playing the US game and I have an outstanding 3 year old who has won the 1st two legs of the Triple Crown with relative ease. The colt is a bit of an anomaly because it's stated average best distance is only 1m, but his stamina bar is higher than that. Right at half way up, and good enough to run a strong 1m2f race. However, I really want to try to stretch him out and get him a victory in the Belmont so he can win the Triple Crown (something I have not done in the game). Any suggestions on how I might be able to get him to 1m4f? I know the suggestion about using "challenge later" to stretch the horse's stamina out a bit further. The colt is a closer so I was thinking of maybe trying to use a pacemaker, but I am not sure how effective that is and if that is really how a pacemaker is supposed to be used. Anyway, any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance for your help.
