 Apprentice nearing full jockey status

Post Apprentice nearing full jockey status
Is it possible to retain future full jockey and get another apprentice as I don't see many apprentices making it to full jockey and appearing in jockey lists.
I would like to make him my full time jockey.
Hope this makes sense.

yes you can fire your apprentice at the end of the season and then hire as stable jock at start of next, the reason you dont see any apprentices becoming full time jocks is because only the apprentices you hire and allow to ride out there claim will go pro
