Argh! I think I've played something like ~60 seasons of this game. Pretty much every one of those seasons one of my biggest goals was to win the Triple Crown. Never done it. Come close a couple times. Had one horse win the first two and finished 2nd in the Belmont by a nose.
This is my latest. I thought I had a shot! Aiguille was a game horse (13/4/1) and Zav Zal (14/1/3) was one of my strongest horses and bred from 2 of my other strongest horses.
Oh well, not sure why I posted this.
I seem to be able to produce winners of the Derby and the Preakness. I win each of those fairly often. But the Belmont is elusive. It seems like any horse that likes 1m4f or so doesn't run all that well early. And any horse that wants 1m1f/1m2f just doesn't last in the belmont (like this one). Any tips?
