Post subject:  Filly - Mare Bias

Does anyone think the game is Filly - Mare Biased ???

I find it easier to race a filly or mare, then a Colt or Stallion. I can produce from the same combination of Stallion and Mare, and if the result is a filly, she will race much better then the Colt by far.

Any thoughts ???

Use the game horses to breed. Getting lots of good fillys is not a bad thing. Have a look at this post and read how thunder and scatters breed. You dont need to go to the lengths they have or retire to game pool but its VERY important to breed from one horse and make sure that horse is available in breeding barn.

The horses are the same but the weight allowance makes the difference so fillies will be better than colts.

However the game very rarely creates good fillies. You have to breed them.

It always has been from day 1 mate, fillys and l mean good game fillys are very hard to come by and if you do find one breed it with everything including the stable boys

I find that I can breed a good 4/5 G1 winning filly's a season, I won the oaks 37 years on the bounce on it is ridiculous, In this same period I had 6 Derby winners, the difference was 1 maybe 2 of those oaks winners would go on to further prove themselves later in the game or in the ck whether half of them Derby winners became 20 time G1 winners and blew everything else away in CK, I find that class fillies are easy to come by but when a top stallion comes along, it is awesome and blows away all the fillies!

It's mainly because the game fillies are so bad.

In game, 3yo form is not to be trusted. Wait til they meet the older horses.

Also, do not trust form at Goodwood and Epsom as due to the camber of the track certain running types are favoured. Sprint races on a bend are also not to be trusted as the draw bias is incredible. Ultimately, CK performance is everything.

I find that as well but I do find that 50% of my derby winners do go on and win the Arc and perform well in CK but the other 50% don't win another G1 race in their life! I find the horses that I take to the Prix De Diane are better and I normally only take one or two there and take 8 or so to the Oaks!
