What is the breeding barn capacity in SO4?

I can see on the screenshot below it states "Breeding Barn - 61 horse(s), capacity: 63 horses. I thought 100 horses was the maximum?

I have purchased all of the stable space possible from the Finance screen

dont think there is a max capacity it always says breeding barn capacity +1 so if you have 35 in there it will say capacity 36

capacity is 100. Don't put anymore than this in the barn as the horse will disappear.

Don't keep Old Mares, 5 foals max and ciao

Why would you do that? I have had mares produce champions well into their 20's. No good foals after 4 crops is a better reason to say cheers.

I've just seen that you can have your best foal before the fifth.

you will lose some good mares this way. Best to look at the offsprings performance. Some of my best horses have come from the 7th crop or later. If the offspring are useless after 4 years get rid of the mare or stallion for that matter even if they have won more than 20 group 1's
