Have you tried your flat horses over jumps?

Breeding those that trial well over jumps over a period of time you will get some really good NH horses, this is how I've done it and have so far had 14 winners in the online league in the first 3 weeks (well in 2 wks, didn't have a winner this week).

Definitely look in your flat game in the training menu and any that your head lad says are 'good' at jumping transfer into a NH game. I also tend to transfer horses with the 'average' jumping ability if they're either not up to G1 class on the flat but have won a valuable handicap well or a G-race and if they prefer softer ground.

When it comes to jump horses, flat speed is all-important. The faster the horse is on the flat, the better it will be over hurdles as long as the head lad says the horse is 'average' or better at jumping. When it comes to chasing it's probably best that the horse is 'good' at jumping.

I have to say, I find judging how far a horse needs over jumps tougher than on the flat.
