I was thinking that my 3yo filly might be something special. This has been somewhat confirmed after her performance in the Yorkshire Oaks.

She finished up injured for two weeks after the race.

Impressive performance winning the Yorkshire oaks with a fast finish carrying an injury? What a horse! What else has it won?

The Eclipse run was ruined by being severely boxed in, and the way she finished after getting free, I've no doubt she'd have won with a clear run.

She also won the Irish Oaks by 14 lengths.

I was wondering what the hell my jockey was doing, as he was motionless from about 4f out. I only realised she was injured in the post race comments. I must say I'm quite excited about seeing how she progresses.

Yes. She won entirely hands and heels!

I've also never had a horse win the Zetland, UAE Derby, 1000 Guineas and the Oaks. 10f down to 9f, down again to 8f then up to 12f.

I see you are playing the British schedule but you are Australian. Do you prefer British racing? Also what level are you playing on?

I'm actually English, but I now live in Australia.

I can't remember what level I started this game on (I've started so many times). I generally just play on normal, although I think the difficulty only effects the starting cash and the amount and standard of your starting horses.

Just looked at the saved game - this one was actually on Harder level. Although, as I said, once you've got going I don't think it makes any difference. I don't really bet on the game, and I don't manually train.

Are you going to try for the Fillies Triple Crown and go for the St Leger, big ask to win that with a 1M 3F horse.
