Been working on distance adaptability in my current games just to see how far I can push the spread of distances a horse will win over. So far the best I'd seen was everything between 1 and 2m. However this one surprised me a little.



I really didn't expect to win at 6f but somehow it came through



So the spread is 6f up to 1m7f. I really don't expect this one to do the Melbourne Cup but I guess I'll give it a whirl later .

Although this is a great achievment takes the reality away for me as in a million years this would never be achieved.

As expected the Melbourne Cup proved a race to far

Certainly a fantastic horse. If only you could have got its rating down to around 100, it would have won by a distance

Great australian horse Mahogany won at 5f and also won the Victorian Derby at 12 1/2F.

So its quite possible horses can do this ? I wish i had a horse with this flexibility, it would make breeding so much more greater.

Started another game for breeding some horses and decided to upload this one again and see how much I can push things.



Also won the Melbourne Cup in this game but in a relatively slow time of 3:37ish

Along the same lines - I don't think this would ever happen in real life

An Abbaye and Arc winner - not in the same season obviously

Mate all i have to say on that is, you currently have a good breeding line going to get your horses over multiple distances. It takes a good horse to win at 5f and get out to over 12f but if you got it going, keep it up sounds like potential superstars.

Winning the Lockinge and Ascot Gold Cup is my biggest distance spread.

Not the widest spread (5f to 1m2f) but bearing in mind the stamina bar I wouldn't have expected this one to win at 1m much less 1m2f. Finally came a cropper in the last race of the season at Sha Tin (1m2f)



And just trialled this in CK and it actually runs closest to standard times at 7f. Who would have thunk that on the stamina bar?

I think the reason why the horse lost his unbeaten record akhc is because the last
race was too close to the one before...just 7 days.

Not too sure about that. I ran the horse in another game and it failed to win at 1m2f. Looking at results 9f is as far as this one will win comfortably.

Best spread I've had in any of my games- gamebred. Lucky to win the Gold Cup really though
