It has been much too long. A lot has been going on in my life, I don't know if I've ever told anyone here, but I have been struggling with depression for years, and I guess it makes me withdraw and lose interest in things that I really enjoy from time to time.

I'm so sorry to hear. I hope that coming back here and chatting with us will do you good. It's aways great to have a community like this, especially about racing!

Although I've never ridden horse (and do not plan too), the grace and elegance of them is a sight to be seen. Such brilliance to watch.

You've never ridden?! Its something you should definitely try at some point. Its great exercise, but such fun you don't realize it until much later (the pain in the inner thighs is a nightmare until your body adapts). Honestly though, the bond between horse and rider (well with a horse that knows and likes you)... there is no way to describe it. You feel almost at one with them, like you can predict their behavior (whether that be good or bad) just by the way you can feel their muscles moving, the ease or tenseness of their steps. And it seems that they can sense what you want as well, they can sense whether you are calm or excited and can learn what to expect from you when they sense that. They learn what your small movements in the saddle mean, small enough movements that most people watching wouldn't even know your weight shifted slightly, but they feel it, and know what you want, what it means. I truly feel for jockeys and exercise riders when a horse they've ridden often is being retired, knowing its their last ride on them. It almost feels like a breakup, like they're taking a piece of your heart with them.

Post Re: Start It Mod
@ Mjtags11 - I have decided to return to the virtual world of horse racing after 3-4 years. I thought I would give Starters Orders 6 another go. Well actually I have the greyhound racing game as well and we have just rescued an ex racer who happens to be the nephew of Westmead Hawk the great hound who won the English Derbies in 2005 and 2006.

Anyway back to SO6. I have installed your International Mod and Silks and its all working perfectly fine. Now I remember back then you did a Racing UK and/or At The Races graphics package as well? If so I can't remember where the download link is/was. I was wondering whether or not you still have that mod and if so would it be possible to post a link so as I can download it please.

You won't remember me but I was the guy asking about such a mod, I think your posts of images are on around page 25 of this topic. They look(ed) good. I asked back then if you were doing a mod package for them and I remember you saying yes.

The thing is I have your up to date International Mod. Would the UK graphics work with that? Have you got a seperate UK graphics package at all? If so that would be great as I am from England and mainly watch the UK based racing.

I Look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards and thanks.

Edit: Nevermind I've found it in your old files. Many thanks.
