Can someone give me a step by step on all the things I have to do to change a course name, and also to change a course to another country, for example if I wanted to move Longchamp to the English folders. Thanks |

Thanks Go into your 3D Folder and courses Folder Copy the Course you want to Change Example Arcadia Copy and Paste it into a New Folder and Name it 2_Santa Anita you can then copy and paste this back into your course Folders then go into your Data Folder then into Folder 2 where the USA tracks are and Change Arcadia to Santa Anita you then have to have a Schedule and Showcase Data Files which is using Santa Anita like Jamies Schedule or Mine and you should be able to race your horses on Santa Anita and not Arcadia. To Switch Courses like Longchamp France To UK just change the Number 5_Longchamp to 1_Longchamp in the 3D Course Folder then Copy Longchamp RN000 F,12 1795,254 From the Data File Folder 5 in Courses And Paste it into the UK Data File Folder 1 and Longchamp will come a UK Course. I have tried changing the name but it is saying, no sub course tag; Middle Lake Middle Lake is the name of the I am changing it to, it is Lingfield I have changed, so I have changed both of the flatTurf1 and dirt1 in the data folder to Middle Lake, but i is saying this error. |

It means that there is one race in the showcase file that says Middle Lake but without a sub course tag (so it should say Middle Lake:cc_dirt1 or flatTurf1). |

Ok thankyou, and what are the possible errors when it just closes when you try to start a new game and says SO6 has stopped working |

Many. The most likely is that somewhere the course name is spelled wrong. |

Race type is L, G1, G2, G3 tag etc. Make sure it's in right position and commas are right. |

It is not working, the problem is with the courses, I have tried changing Lingfield to Middle Lake, Chester to Braxton Hedges and York to Rosa, following the steps you said, but when I try to load a game it never loads, and so6 is not responding. Is there anything else I need to do? |

I have deleted all of the other courses in the UK game also, so it is just these three courses that I mentioned earlier, also I have copied the entire SO6 folder and pasted in another location to make these changes, so in effect i have two of the game, the original in the normal program files and the copied one with the changes in another location, and it is when i try to run from the icon within the edited folder that it will not work. I know that having two versions of the game in different locations worked fine in so5 so i presume it is the same for so6 |

I have sorted the courses, but now im getting this again, Can't get valid showcaseRacesInit::racetype line. Race no:, 1 I have been through the showcase file and have found no errors, does anybody know how to fix it? |
