Post Creating a schedule from scratch
Hi,

I am wanting to create a jumps schedule from scratch.

Is this something I can do?

Is this something that is easy to do?

Do I have to start on 5th September? Would I be able to start earlier?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

U can start when u want. In my jumps game I start 1 October and finish mid july.

What do mean start from scratch? Do u mean u want to make u own races up or the races in game.

yes I would like to create my own races both showcase and non showcase.

I want to have one meeting during week days 8 race cards and two 6 race cards on weekends.

How easy is this to do?

The game automatically gives meetings Daily so even if you did this the game would still add other meetings so just your races would not appear I have made my own Schedules and its difficult has any space, comma or full stop in the wrong place will crash the loading screen you will find this helpful to make your schedule.

Can you not choose your own daily meeting?

There never seems to be enough novice hurdles so I want to have one for every meeting like there normally is.

I anticipated it would be difficult. It something I've never tried doing

Thanks for your help

I've got 306 showcase races in my US game and around 280 I made myself.

It can be done but it takes a lot of time to do it.

What about your everyday midweek races? Handicaps, novice, sellers etc.

I've looked in the data files but it seems you can only create showcase races.

If you can wait four weeks, I can let you have a copy of my jumps schedule (Processing at the moment). It will basically have what you want.

One meeting per day, with plenty of 4+ novice chases, 3yo/4yo (4yo races appear after Jan 1st) juvenile hurdles, handicaps from 0-100 to 0-150, and graded races. It can be done where just your races appear.

All types of horses will be catered for from 2m - 3m 2f hurdlers and chasers 2m to 4 1/2m.

Data

Folder 1

sched j

showc j

Copy and paste both onto desktop. Make any changes you want and put back in same folder.

Back up the originals first though.

Hi,

Thanks for your help. Whereabouts would I find the file for the full jumps season schedule.

For example finding the file that shows a meeting at hereford in September. All I can find is files in regards to showcase races.

You wont find Hereford in any showcase File unless it has a Showcase Race the game Automatically add racecourses and races when you start a game if you want Hereford to have a race meeting in September you will have to Create six race card yourself and put it in the Showcase File in September and then put it in the Sched_j file.

Ok cool I get that.

But say I add this to the showcase file on say the 29th September. What will happen to the meeting already set to that date?

If you add six races on that date, the original meeting would disappear.

If less than six the meeting remains.
