I've managed to get PJ's schedule to work
Bit of an amateur with making changes and changing files, but it's so worth it.
Adds so much to the game.

LIB::FATAL ERROR: Fatal: Can't get valid showcaseRacesInit::day line. Race no: , 107 How do I fix this? I can't get into a UK flat game. Sandy |

Sandy You must have made an error while you were working on your schedule or showcase, you must have left a dot, coma or a date of a race that you are creating, so you have got to go back and see where the error is in your race creation |

Hi Tomas, I downloaded a few schedules from here, so I have no idea where the problem may be? Is there anyway I can overwrite the error? if so, how? |

Which schedules did you download? and how did you copy & paste them? and are you on the latest patch? |

I've tried to download these three schedules: -Atiggerx33's Global Schedule: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=9844&start=0 -Pjrhodes1970's World Wide Schedule: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=10425 -Unfuwain’s UK Schedule: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=9693 None have worked though, can't even have them as an option - just the default one comes up. I'm clearly doing it wrong. I am on the latest patch, I've just copied and pasted/overwritten. |

Sandy Count down the races on either the showcase file or the schedule file to race number 107. The problem will be with that race. Day line suggests its in the schedule file. The name of the race in the schedule file must be exactly the same as the name of the race in the showcase file. Look for little things like missing commas and also an extra blank space after a name. Look also for the race in schedule to be formatted wrong. Like this... Right ------- 1,1 Cheltenham Sporting Life Handicap Hurdle Wrong -------- 1,1 Sporting Life Handicap Hurdle Cheltenham When creating schedules it is not uncommon for these mistakes to occur because you start losing your mind after a while making them. |

I only tried PJ's schedule and it worked fine. You need to extract it using winrar which is free and simple to install and use. Follow his instructions for it to work... Quote: Please Use Winrar to unzip Files _showc_f.dat goes to Programfiles/so6/data/1 sched_f_pjrwws.dat goes to Documents/so6/exports/schedules/1 Also make sure you select his schedule when you start your game. |
