Appreciated, can these be showcase races? Saying cant get race type for showcase when I add these in?

Any race you Make and put into your data schedule will be showcase example below

I will create one for a chase 2m Cheltenham January 1st

Making a Claiming race say for Cheltenham first make the Showcase Race

16,C,5UP --> 2m Claiming Race 5years old and up
16000 ------> Prize Money
Cheltenham:cc_jumps1 ------- Chase Code and Jump 1 Course
Simple Minds Claiming Chase -------> Name of Race
January ---------->Month to run it in

That is your showcase Race you put that into your showcase data File but if you start the game the race wont show up you can do two things go into your schedule editor and add the race or which is the best thing has it will show in every new game everytime its to put it into your Schedule data file like below


1,1 -------------------------------------------> January 1st day you want it in your Schedule
Cheltenham ---------------------------------> Course remember you don't need the Code :cc_jumps1 in your schedule file
Simple Minds Claiming Chase ---------------> Race Name Make sure you haven't got any mistakes a Full Stop or Comma in the wrong place or it will crash or wont show up in game.

Is there any way to change parameters of non showcase races that already exist in the schedule?

I can see how to add new mdns later in the season when they become more scarce by making them in the showc data files and updating the sched files accordingly but I can't see any way of changing non showcase races that already exist (you can delete showcase races).

I don't actually understand where the non showcase races reside, it looks like they cannot be got at.

There are plenty of mdns in the first month of the season on the aw in january which is great (actually a few more than are usually run 10th-31st) but I was hoping to change a few of the 10f ones for other distances as they are more overly represented than is the norm.

I would really appreciate if someone could clarify whether there is any way of editing non showcase races that already exist?

Tried all this years ago ended up giving up was causing major headaches and my game to crash

I Now just stick to Marks editor far less stressful hopefully he can enhance it for so7
