I really want to install some of the game mods, but I am a bit afraid if that is going to corrupt my games.

Is there a guide or walkthrough of which files to back up, how you do that and how you restore your game again?

I would like to install the Start it mod and Teleprompters UK schedule. Is it possible to do both without corruption?
