it sounds great! id like to have a go at trying the schedule out, as i think having made similar schedules i may be able to identify some problems that i have encountered, and perhaps suggest some ideas for problems that do come up

Sure thing bud, I'll send it to a couple of people to test before I publish it to everyone (will pm you). Hopefully won't be too much longer. I must admit, I did underestimate the job, far more than I realized it would be when I started. Respect to everyone that has modded this game over the past years. It's no quick process. I think you only realize this when you do it yourself.

This is how the Kentucky Derby and Oaks looks in season 2 after the trials. Nice to see the back form on a UK Sched, just need to work out the field size for the derby now, the oaks seems to be ideal really. There are still some more trials I can add. I think I can fix that. We do want to be seeing at least 14 horses line up for that Derby

Not ideal seeing some Aus runners, but I don't think I can prevent it. The only way I could would be to ditch most of the Aus races in the sched, and reduce the total number of Aus runners in game .... Which I might yet do. See how it goes. What I'm learning is some sacrifices will need to be made from one or two of the countries. The game just isn't set up for us to have it all sadly.

The natspread is currently X,6,6,6,6,2,6,0,0,0

France can probably become a 4, and if I ditch everything from AUS aside from the staying races and some big sprints, that can probably become a 3-4 as well. Too many 6's there. Meydan will remain a 6 because I have the full Meydan festival with maidens and handicaps all running perfect. Aus is the one for the chopping block atm, for the benefit of getting the US running better, i think its worth it.

The triple crown just aint gonna work out the way I want it to, because I now have all the american horses that ran kentucky oaks and derby trials showing up at newmarket and curragh for our 1000 and 2000 guineas. Unfortunately going to ditch the american detail. Where I'm at with this now (remember, I'm learning on the job).....

This is going to be a pretty bad ass UK/Ireland sched, we have all the detail in there, we have all the windsor meets, pontefract marathon series, and lots of other little real life features. We have a full working dubai festival. In terms of Aus, we have the stayers races, and one or two of the sprints, same with japan. Breeders cup will obviously remain, as will longchamp. We'll just have to accept a lack of back form.

If I carry on trying to get all of this american stuff to work I'll end up losing interest, so taking a step back, and the final product will still be very good!

I'll keep all of the work ive done that isn't going to work out on SO6 saved for S07, at which point Mark will hopefully get his shit together

My next update will be the links.... Few more days should do it :)

The _preps function really does NOT work very well in SO6! We really need to be given the ability to lock horses from certain countries from some races too, where necessary.

Yep. I'm in season 4 of testing. Making a list as I go of the races that aren't well supported to remove them.

None so far. I was disheartened that I couldn't get the triple crown to work so took the foot off the gas for a few days. Everything else is fine though.

Just looking for and adding all of the London Series now on the all weather, all the qualifiers that will be lined up to their respective finals. Be a nice little bonus feature of the all weather season.
