I have noticed that age conditions in handicaps and graded races set in the featuredraces.db file seem to be one age higher in the gameplay. I see this in juvenile hurdle races as well: in the gameplay, they sit as 5yo races. Has anyone else seen this?

Yeah, I noticed this last week when I was starting to mod, and found that someone else had already started the thread below about it. I added my findings to the same thread. Mark said he’s going to look into it. I’m editing my data files on the assumption that it will be fixed, but won’t be able to do any testing until it’s sorted.

A heads up for those who have brought in courses from S06 to SO7. Any course that uses a redirect file needs to have the contents of the redirect file altered slightly. If you don't the game will crash when you go to view races at a track with a redirect file.

An example...

I have Elko County Fair in my courses which I brought in from S06. The course folder uses a redirect file to the Generic5dirt course. In SO6 it looks like this...

2_Generic5dirt
Generic5dirt

In SO7 it should read like this...

USA_Generic5dirt
Generic5dirt

Mark is about to write in a date slider so we can set any year as our base year on which we write our schedules.

So, now that we can customise the year, can we reach agreement on which year to base this general mod? I have already started to base my schedule on 2020. Having said that, 2019 will be less problematic for the leap year which makes Saturday fall, unhelpfully, on February 29 in 2020.

What do others prefer?

Here is A Photo of Niigata Racecourse Japan as you know I did a few for So6 when it came out but because the Jumps didn't have a ID in the Japanese side of game we couldn't do them so when Mark said Jumps would be able to be done in other Nations I went back in a few months ago and started work on them and Redone them and modified here is the last one Completed so the Six Jumps I have done are

Nakayama
Kyoto
Kokura
Tokyo - Mark has done this one already
Hanshin
Niigata

when I have done some testing and schedule I will upload for you also I will revamp Hakodate and Sapporo to the download below is a outline of graded Jump Races for Japan.

I actually just finished work on Niigata earlier today lol. I'll post my pictures once I have it in game (working on course now, then will incorporate once I port over my full Japan schedule from SO6)

I should have my UK jumps and flat schedules ready by the end of Wednesday.

Meanwhile here is a screenshot of my redrawing of Sandown last year.

Nice work on that famous dip at Nakayama.

Also, here are images of the Niigata I did this morning. Not as fun to make as Sha Tin or Kranji were, but this was a nice track to race at.
