Ripvan and Mikey, I'm pretty sure I have fixed the problem. If you give me twenty minutes to upload changes and update the link, you can download pack again.

**link now updated - both data and gfx folders need to be installed on this one.**

Yep can now confirm that works fine for me cheers mate.

One question i have is that there seems to be a lot of races with jockeys carrying overweight especially the listed races. Is this something to do with the schelduel or has it always been there as i really didnt take much notice before?

Cheers

No not related to the schedule, more the trainer AI I think.
Without penalties, the horses should be carrying 8stone in a listed race. The jockey list has current weights but there are plenty enough jockey's 8stone or lower that could be booked for the ride, but instead the trainers go with jockeys weighing more causing the over-weight. Same with the foreign jockeys, I weighted them all purposefully between 8 and 8.4 so again the ride could be given to a jockey who makes the weight but it isn't.
Probably worth posting it on the latest patch thread for Mark to look at Ripvan, he may be able to update the trainer AI regards the jockey's they book or even set the weight for the jockeys to 'minimum' so they are unavailable for the ride if too heavy.

DB will the above effect the schedule from this post? In other words will I have to install the data/gfx files again? I presume so and would I have to do it all the time when a patch is released?
Thanks.

Yes, every time you install a patch, it writes over the entire data folder in Program Files so all schedules will revert to game originals. You only need to update the data folder once downloaded again.

So it's just the Data and not the GFX that we need to install again.

That's correct Exx.

I've put a link up on the first page for the edited names pack that contains the flat trainer/jockey reduction but with enough jumps trainer/jockey inclusion to allow both combined and jumps only games to be played now. Additions are 65 UK jumps jockey's with 10 Irish, weights applied, and 60 UK trainers along with 12 Irish. Complete portrait pack also included.

gfx folder goes in C:\Program Files\starters orders 4
data folder goes in C:\Program Data\starters orders 4 for Vista + and for XP C:\Documents & Settings\All Users\Application Data\starters orders 4

Won't work on Irish games unless you add more trainers/jockeys to folder 4.

DB I have been using this schedule but the other day I decided to start a new game and thought that I would skip a season but the red bar at the bottom stops. Works fine on a NH game but not combined or flat. Here is the posting where I have posted this problem. Any ideas?

Yeah, I would uninstall the game, doesn't need to be a full clean, just the program files side, install it back in, patch it up to date, then pop the schedule's back in and try it again.

So I should:
1) Go to add/remove programs uninstall SO 4
2) Install the game back in and patch up to date
3) Pop the schedules back in.

Is that correct? I have saved my portrait/tipsters from the gfx folder and also the data folder from the program data. I don't want to lose all my jockey/trainer name and picture changes.

DB I have just uninstalled SO 4 and installed it back in, patched up to date and then popped in this schedule, skipped a season (combined) and it works great, BUT, when I copy and paste my data (jockey/trainer name changes) into the program data/data the red bar gets stuck again when trying to skip a season. So obviously it is something to do with the jockey/trainer names. Is there a certain limit that I cannot go below for each country?
Here is my list of the amount of trainers/jockeys that I have in the game for each country. I just don't know what to do?

1) TRAINERS JUMPS = 61 FLAT = 62
JOCKEYS JUMPS = 79 FLAT = 84
2) TRAINERS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 10
JOCKEYS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 23
3) TRAINERS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 14
JOCKEYS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 19
4) TRAINERS JUMPS = 21 FLAT = 34
JOCKEYS JUMPS = 30 FLAT = 33
5) TRAINERS JUMPS = 5 FLAT = 5
JOCKEYS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 5
6) TRAINERS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 5
JOCKEYS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 16
7) TRAINERS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 5
JOCKEYS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 20
8 ) TRAINERS JUMPS = 5 FLAT = 5
JOCKEYS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 5
9) TRAINERS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 5
JOCKEYS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 5
10) TRAINERS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 5
JOCKEYS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 5
11) TRAINERS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 5
JOCKEYS JUMPS = 0 FLAT = 14

Any suggestions.
