NOT WORK WITH SHOWCASE FILE

there are 2 files place them correctly and IT WILL WORK


Drop file showc_f into folder 1 in C:\Program Files\Starters Orders 4\data\1
drop sched_f_pjr stayers.dat into programdata/so4/exports/schedules

You will have to drop showc_f into folder 1 every time you install a new patch.

In some cases you may need to goto the editor open my schedule to edit
and set start date at day 10 then save and goto new game and select my schedule

my schedule should then be in your new game

this schedule is known as pjr stayers because kenny added 2 made up
2yo races for me and made some tweaks ie made the dewhurst a 2yo race

M'westy can this topic be made a sticky so its easy for people to

When i start a new game or trying to edit i get this message.

LIB::FATAL ERROR:Fatal:Can't match schedule race (Winter Derby Trial) with showcase db rec!

I have dropped the sched file into programdata/so4/exports/schedules/1

Any one help ??

Can I change schedule for an existing game or do I have to start a new game when using a new schedule (the PJR worldwide)?

think you will have to start a new game

Not sure but try this, when you get to the final day of the season save the game, drop in your new schedule when you start a new season see if the schedule has taken if not then its a new game for you im afraid.

Tried it on weekend but it doesn't work, but I could still play my saved game.
Seems the schedule u choose at the beginning of your first season can't be changed. Maybe a point for SO5 development that schedules can be changed/chosen each beginning of a season.
One question, does the Everything Pack also change the standard schedule? I like this real schedule, not sure to start a new game only for the schedule with some transferred horses. Is it much of an advantage to play other schedules because u can win more G1s and breed better horses with horses which have better records?

If I have done this right should the first big race be the Lincoln Trail at Wolverhampton on the 4th March?

Hi mate,
I've just downloaded your schedule and its class.
Works fine but won't load back up after finishing my game.
It says LIB::FATAL ERROR: Fatal: showcase file. Can't find 'START' marker!.
Any help would be much appreciated.

sorry to hear you are having problems mate

i am not technicly gifted enough to help with the problem
i would have to be sitting at your computer to sort this
all i really no is some get it to work easy and some people have problems

i dont no if add ons or patch versions are effecting the schedule

all i can say is hopefully this will be made easier to install in so5 as i will be making 1

i know its very frustrating and not very helpful but i have no idea what fatel errors mean or how to solve the problem
there are loads of people that have got it to work following all of the above instructions

again sorry cant be more helpful maybe someone who is more knowledgeable than me can help you out
