I am aware that you can make it 3 or 4UP or 5 UP etc.

However, I would like to restrict some races to 4 & 5yos and some to 5 & 6yos.

Is this possible?

I believe it is possible yes.

For 4yo's only you would just put 4 instead of 4UP.

I believe that would be a code for a 0-100 handicap over 12f for horses aged 4 and 5.

Thanks for replying but unfortunately that is not it. I have tried 45, 4&5, 4-5 but to no avail.

I am currently playing English Flat/Jumps combined using my schedule. However, I am trying to get round the fact that a horse can be a novice in December but at the start of a new season in January that is no longer the case.

What I am trying to achieve is between January and May restrict the novice hurdle races to Graded races for 4 & 5yo's and novice chases throughout the same period to 5 & 6yo's.

If anyone knows whether or not this is possible please respond.

Just wondering have heard this novice issue mentioned a few times will it be fixed on so5?

It's possible to restrict races to 4yo only, and 3&4yo only, but as far as I'm aware I don't think it's possible to make them for 4&5yo or 5&6yo only.

The issue only applies to the combined schedule in SO4, but in SO5 it shouldn't be an issue due to a change of season start and finish dates.
