Post Making a Schedule on SO5
Is the schedule editor working on SO5?

I made a schedule last year for SO4 using the SO3 decryptor sheet because iirc the schedule editor wasn't working or something.

So... is it working? And is this the best way to make a new schedule?

I want to make an international schedule and that would be another factor with the schedule editor. Can I make sure I can edit all the schedules around the world easily? If not, I'm fine with using that SO3 decrypter.

And that would be another question. Does the decrypter still work for making schedules?

There are a few issues with the schedule editor at the moment, which will hopefully be fixed soon.

As for the decrypter, you don't need this anymore, as the data files in SO5 are not encrypted.

Thanks for the response.

Seems like making a schedule by hand is going to be alot easier this time around now that I see what you just mentioned.

Two more questions...

I was playing around with the schedule editor (SE).

1) It looks like I can remove a prep race in the SE but I can't seem to *add* a prep race. Can I?

2) Can I add a race in the SE? If I wanted to create the "Jstu9 Handicap", can I do it in the SE?

1) There seems to be problems with prep races in the SE at the moment, so if you want to add or remove any I would do this directly in the schedule file.

2) No, you would need to add it in the relevant showcase file first. Always remember to back up your files if you customise them, as any patches released will write over them.

The error seems to be that for some people if you add or remove a prep race in the schedule editor it moves some of the other prep races out of sync.
