Here is my horse name database:
And about bloody time.
I had nearly 18,000 horses and had to manually delete the duplicated names which took it down to 15,000+ so quite a few were duplicated. Then I had to add about 900 or so more, anyway it's here at last!!! :roll:
It features all the stars from the past and present and maybe the future.
From English to Irish to American, Australian and other various Countrys.
If the horse is a fillie with a colts name and vice versa then that is not my fault so please don't complain to me PRETTY PLEASE!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
It goes into C:\Program Files (x86)\Starters Orders 5\data\1\horses.dat
Please backup before you insert it into your file.
A new game will be required for the names to come into your game.

I know Kauto Star and Denman aren't in the first season but they are defo in the game.
You can even click on my horse name database and open with Excel and you can put them in alphabetical order and view the horses that way.

I had a problem with 2 named horses that I found in the database, one was Pamak D'Airy who would appear in the game as Pamak D'airy instead of a capital A it's a small a and I can't remember the other horses name. I like it to be right if possible so below is the updated file with those names corrected.
Also in this upload horses like Kauto Star and Voler La Vedette are included at the start of the season.

If you edit the horse names, do you need to start a new game in order for them to take effect?

thanks amazing work :) 1 thing will kauto star and denman appear in the jumps only, in so4 there were in flat aswell.

In both because there is no seperate folder for jumps and flat horses or colts and fillies so Kauto star may end up being a fillie :shock:

Hi there I bought Starters Orders 4 from PC World last night. had no idea there was a SO5! Was wondering if this database will work on SO4? If noit is there a similar database for SO4? Any help would be much appreciated.
