 creating silks

Post creating silks
i've created a set of silks using paint but when i put them into the game i get a large black rectangle around the jockey but the actual silks work fine, any suggestions how i overcome this?

Try using photoshop.

Can it be done with paint though or does it have to be photoshop? And what specific one?
