 Is it possible to rename a country?

Post Is it possible to rename a country?
I am planning on replacing either australia or ireland (probably ireland) with new countries (either Italy or Argentina) and I want to know if there is any way to rename the country... So that it looks 100% like the new country not just flags and such

also is there anyway to change a country from flats and jumps to just flats?
