Ive completed my schedule and I've run it through several seasons, what else do I need to do to check how all the preps etc are working?
Testing a schedule depends on what you're hoping it will do, and the level of realism that you're looking for. I would do a 5-year auto-run, then simulate through two or three more seasons, checking the quality of horses that are entered in different types of races, checking the path that the top game horses in different categories take through each season to see if it's realistic, check that the entries for overseas races are realistic, and making sure that the preps are leading the right horses to the right races that are heavily prepped, while not detracting from other races. It takes time, and you might need to do some tweaking, but it's worth it in the end when you have a schedule that works exactly as you want it to.
