How do you have a track only schedule turf races?

If its for uk, delete all the all weather tracks, however this means you probably won't get racing for a few months though.

I should have phased this better. I have a specific US track (Colonial Downs) that basically only runs turf. I was wondering if there was a way to force their schedule to only generate turf races.

be very careful when deleting stuff you could ruin your game totally always keep a copy of important files in a backup folder

Go into your WP folder you will see two Colonial Downs wp files

Colonial Downs
Colonial Downs_1

One is all weather Track the other is the turf track you could remove one but which one is which I wouldn't know but like what was said before I wouldn't delete any just case just remove one and put it safe so you can pop it back in when you need it.

This could seriously screw up your schedule and cause the game to crash, BEWARE!

Go into showc f file and find a famous turf race. Check which course it is run on eg BC turf is run on Santa Anita or Santa Anita 1. Example,If the BC Turf is run on Santa Anita 1, go into wp files and remove the colonial downs file, leaving colonial downs 1. Then go into the courses file and remove the colonial downs dirt track info- go down the list of courses and find the set that starts like so:
Colonial Downs
0
2 or 3(doesn't matter which)
Start a new save, but make sure you have backed up all files first.

How do you force night time only racing on generic tracks?

I'm not sure if that's possible, it might involve changing around some of the gfx files but I'd have to look deeper into it. Glad the other alteration worked for you. One thing you must do is back up the altered course file in another location, as every time you install a new patch you will have to paste it back in again, and redelete the wp file.

Night time racing is in your schedule its usually next to the race with an underscore _evening

I'm looking for a way to make tracks w/o showcase events run a night time schedule only.
