Post Champion Jocky: G1 Jockey & Gallop Racer
A new horse racing game, " Champion Jockey: G1 Jockey & Gallop Racer" due out this september from the Koei/Tecmo merger that has brought us G1 Jockey & Gallop racer in the past.

Out on all next gen cosoles, surely they cant get it wrong with this release and give all horse racing fans the best sim available.

I Had G1 jockey and G1 jockey 3 and 4.... Really enjoyed the games, think a mix with gallop racer could be very good!!

So had I. Loved them both. I think, "With Koei and Tecmo merging, its the perfect formula for the ultimate Horse Racing sim."

But sometimes something so obvious, can fall flat on its face.

So Hopefully they deliver, and give us a great game to see through the Dark Winter months.

just seen a 4 player online mode too, this will be fantastic if you can breed and then race online, just hope its not to geared at using the motion/move and can be used simply with a controller too

Fantastic News. I had stopped looking on the koei site.

Starters Orders 5 and now this, brilliant.

Starters Orders 4 is still an amazing game and will take some improving.

This does look class. Nothing matches SO5 from a breeding and realism perspective but for actual riding simulation this is the best I have played.

Didn't realise so many people played MW on here, I've given up on Black Ops online, too boring, my win loss is over 4.5 and most of those losses are due to hosts pulling. MW2 had it's faults but the matches were a lot more exciting. Only play Zombies now.

I've played both games over the years.

G1 Jockey is not a patch on any Gallop Racer games.

Been waiting for a new GR game for years.

The first Gallop Racer game is prob the best console racing game there is. The only reason I liked G1 jockey was because it had jump races. I hope they use the race graphics from gallop racer in the new game. Looking forward to this.

Didnt Gr1 have Newmarket, Epsom & Ascot in the game. I see this one has so many euro tracks too, I think Cheltenham is there looking at the screen shots.

Well as far as I know, there is a strategic side to this game with breeding included, as it is a blend of both previous games,G1 Jockey & Gallop Racer.

So if the new merger of Koei/Tecmo have done there homework and checked the wishlists on this forum and orlworld forum stating the need for a Winning Post type game, well then this could be it??

Then again, its too good to be true. Wait & see....
