Re: England v Sweden
not really sure what to think on 1 hand we showed great heart beat a team we have never beat in major comps
on the other hand defence looks fragile and spannish will tear us apart any half decent team will Hart looks a bit shakey
but big improvement on world cup even though i still think players are not playing at there club level but its always been the same with england
hope we can win the group and avoid them dreaded spaniards who are different gravey

Re: England v Sweden
As an England fan I try not be too critical of a win but Sweden were pretty poor and we did struggle against their set plays for twenty crucial minutes The performances of some was not at all satisfactory Ashley young (again) was rubbish Glenn Johnson made so many positional mistakes including the first goal where he kept Mellberg onside, he recovered to make some good tackles but they wer mainly through his own bad positioing. I feel sorry for Milner he has to do so much work covering Johnson he is knackered by the end of the game and can't do his own job of putting crosses in. Ashley Cole was back to his old unpredictable self, is it any coincidence that he might have been relying on Young to do some covering On the bright side their heads didn't drop, and they rode their luck well, Walcotts goal was a bit lucky and I hope Hodgeson resists the temptation to give him a start against Ukraine, he in my opinion is a live impact substitute for bringing on with 20 to go. With Rooney coming back it must be Young out and a wider role for Wellbeck The defence is very shaky Jones in for Johnson might give Milner more time to go forward. I am now confident of reaching the quarters but things will have to change to even beat Spain on penalties. Ian

Re: England v Sweden
Bit of a rollercoaster that match really, at least we proved we can score more then one goal but would rather not go through that again.
