Interesting note about Doce - the first picture. Was found on the cold floor of a factory with five other siblings at one day of age. No mother to be found anywhere. One kitten was deceased already. The five remaining were brought to the rescue center where they were cared for day and night. One by one the kittens succumbed to a terrible virus they had brought with them. Doce was the lone survivor. |

My wife volunteers at the local cat shelter and quite often we have to foster young kittens until they are old enough to be re-homed. Here's a typical litter. |

Great news on Doce! He was adopted by the rescue center owner's granddaughter. A special needs child who was ever so happy to get Doce! |
