Post Crash reports.
If you get a crash in your game it is important to email in the pre-crash saves so we can fix the problem.

Also there is a LOG.TXT file now in the STARTERSORDERS6 folder (in the DOCUMENTS location). Please email this in.

SO6 save files now contain copies of schedules. This means that it is no longer such a problem for players to email in problem save files that use third party mod's.

Using third party mod's is discouraged because overwriting game files can cause problems and really if you do not know how to uninstall and do a clean reinstall (in case you get a problem) and use explorer then don't download mods.

It is better to email crash reports straight in as there is a possibility they may get lost of the forums.

Do not post or email reports such as 'my game crashed and I'm fed up'. It tells us nothing and wastes everyone's time. Fully describe how and when the game crashed. What game mode you are on and which mod (if any) you are using. Then if you have a pre crash save email it in. Also if you get the LAST CP IS RF error that is a generic error and does not indicate the cause so we need as much info as possible.

Backup you save game files regularly. The easiest way is to just leave a explorer window open in your DOCUMENTS > STARTERS ORDERS 6 > SAVES folder and now and again COPY the contents or preferably the files containing the games save slot number to another location.

Repeatable crashes. Email in your files. This is when a game loads and then by clicking a specific button (or combinations or buttons) or by progressing past a certain date you get a crash every time. Emailing us these files is a big help. It enables us to potentially debug and fix the problem quickly. See this thread on emailing in your problem save files:
